So,alot of people have asked me"So what have you been doing lately??".Well,my family and I have been recently canning crabapples.We've been makin apple pie filling,applesauce and juice,as well as crabapple jelly.My favorite is the crabapple jelly:).There's been quite a bit of talk of an early frost,as well as winter by the end of October.Frankly,I'm enclined to believe both....mostly because I love winter,and I'm beist.Besides,if an early fall came,most likely do will an early frost.I mean,by the end of September,i'll most likely pull out my sweaters and such.I really enjoy harvest time,it's also my second favorite season.I love watching the leaves fly from a tiny pile to a gigantic hurricane of leaves.I also enjoy the fully grown wheat fields,and imagine walking through it,almost like floating on a cloud.Or even laying down  and reading in them.But I guess everyone has their own opinion of seasons.....That's just make take on it.:).Canning just co...

For a few years now,people refer to their"magic word".Like,for example,abracadabra  or open sesame.My "magic"word is LBRI.L'BRI is all natural.It's company has an amazing backstory,and it's products range from skin cleanser to makeup to foot soaks.Though My Mom's ABSOLUTE FAVORITE Is the Body butter.It has many scents though my favorite is the white yea blossom and cedarwood.They're all naturals is based on the aloevera plant.So,instead of water being it's first ingredient,it's aloe.The aloejelly is great too,though.If you have any questions on it,feel free to contact Susan Windsor.She's really quite good at her job!Any questions or comments,I'll get back to you as soon as I can:)

One of the things I see most in August/September is "Back to School" items.People love sending their kids off to public school.They do it for their children's own education.Often times,the kids are being bullied instead of being welcomed in.Those bullies almost always are hurtin inside fromm whatever it may be from.So,instead of learning from it,they do the same to someone else,to try to make them to understand the way they felt themselves.So,instead of fighting back my advice to you is to turn the other cheek.Show kindness,compassion,and understanding.It's easy to reply with anger,unkindness,and bitterness.It's easy to be kind to those who have been kind to you.But ohh!What a show of character it is when someone is unkind to you.Todays society and world are so different than what their parents went through.Shootings occurring is a frightening thing in our day.People shoot for the pure pleasure of inflicting pain upon others.It's not a gun problem,it's a h...

Most people love to walk,but some dont.Those that don't like to do it have a rough time getting excercise,therefore sometimes their health suffers the consequences.For those that don't like walking,try mowing.It's still walking,but your hands are busy,as a bonus your yard looks a whole lot neater.If that still doesn't work,try mowing AND listening to classical music.I would recommend one of my favorite songs called "Ancient Words" by Fountainview Academy,it's not classical,but it is a lovely song.On that note of mowing,it's also hardwork.Hardwork is a noble character quality.It's one that is and should be passed down from generation to generation. This past week was The Roseau County Fair,and I must say it was an AMAZING week.More than 300 kids were there to hear The Gospel!I was very grateful for all the help at The Good News Cabin this year.Afew others felt the same,because there was many a ice cream cone,cotton candy,and thankyous passed around.I had an amazing time.I enjoyed telling the story or asking if people wanted water,though my favorite was painting.I loved seeing the kids faces once I had finished!You have to experience it yourself,it's sometimes not the same as when you hear it from someone else.Though I enjoyed the cabin,it was also nice to walk around the fair.My two favorite exhibits was the EPIC one,and the Life care coloring area.Faith went on her first ride EVER just yuesterday.We waited in line for 45 minutes,but it was worth it for the Ferris Wheel.The fireworks also happneed to be going,so it looked more appealing from the ground,and we were both thankful for land once we got off!David went on his first...

Many times throughout our lives,we are so caught up in our own lives,we don't stop and think about what others are going through in their lives.2 Kings 20:5a says-"I have heard thy prayer,I have seen thy tears;behold,I will heal thee....".You just never know what battle someone might be facing today.A kind word,a smile,and thoughtful gift can brighten the most cloudiest of days.Plato said-"Be kind,for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle."Another one of my favorite quotes is by Lakshmi Priya.It says-"Not all scars are visible to the eyes,some are hidden in sweet smiles".

So this week is the Roseau County Fair,and we have a stand every year hosted by Family Fundamental Church.It's called The Good news cabin.There,we provide FREE waterbottles,FREE facepaintings (or you could have it on your hand/arm),Free prizes,and Free stories.People there work so hard to share the clear message of the Gospel.We love kids,and often have a amazing time just listening to hear about whatever they wanna talk about.Well,when it comes to the Fair,there's often alot of rides,but the one that is ALWAYS the most loud is the rocket.I'm so glad they moved that away from the cabin this year!The story behind Mrs.Windsor wearing a mustasch is because she was playing marco polo with Quinn (A sweet kid of 3 of a friend of ours)and was disguising herself!Sorry,everybody,LOTS of photos are going up this week!
