A Tough Week

This week,to be perfectly honest,was a really tough.For awhile now,my grandma was loosing weight,not feeling well,hardly eating,due to pain for some reason.She recently went to see a doctor,and found out she has colon(I probably spelled that wrong)cancer.It was a shock to all us who know her.That was right on the beginning of the week...monday (sigh).Then school was next,which was tough again.A real challenge.I was glad when Friday hit,the last day of school for the week.grandparents,and Uncle came over for the weekend.I was glad for the extra company,because it gets really lonely when it's just you and your sis at home.Then,my dad had to work the weekend shift,to which I was really disappointed.Not because he wanted to,but more because he's the only guy working in his department,and he was behind.I really missed him this week.On sunday,due to vehicle trouble,I wasn't able to make it to church,as well as my sis.We did slip some bonding time,spent time with God,and cleaned the house (Someone asked me what my fave hobby was,can you believe I said cleaning,lol?!).Afterwards,during the late afternoon,I sprained my knee.If you could pray for me and my family this coming week,I would really appreciate it.We're still holding onto hope,by God's Grace!

    Thankyou.I don't write them very often but sometimes I get a splurge of inspiration from God's word that really encourages me so I tend to wanna share it with others:)

My Grandma

Yesterday I attended a funeral.Not really sure how to put this,or if it'll come out right.I attended a persons funeral to which I was very close with.My grandmas.It was touching to see how many lives Mary Mathews touched.I look around the auditorium and see people hurting just as much as I am n know I'm not alone. We held an open house afterward and was so thankful for all the people who brought delicious desserts and snacks,so we wouldn't have to wait tables and clean up.Making the day even longer.We all had a good fellowship and spent some time with friends and family.As my grandma would say "LOVE ISNT MEANT TO STAY,LOVE ISNT LOVE UNTIL YOU GIVE IT AWAY" If you have not seen the funeral or couldn't make it here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs474BVBxAA6DOC4sjRFP-A

Dear Readers, Since I found out my grandma has cancer,it's been a tough road for all of us.In some way or another,it left a scar on our hearts.I'm so thankful that God is with us through these tough times.I've come to believe sometimes loving someone comes with a price.When you love someone,it hurts you to see them in pain.That is the price to loving somone,but loving them is worth the risk.I've learned time is precious,everyone has it,but no one can keep it.It's fleeting,one here moment,gone the next.Spending time with your loved ones is important to tying those heart strings.My family has been key to these tough times.Especially my parents.They've protected me,cared for me,gave godly advice,and helped me bear my burdens.God has been with me throughout this trip,and He'll still be with me looooooonnnnnnngggggg after.My church family has supported my grandma and took the time to be there for her.That's something I won't forget easily and will always
