Part 2 to a very special weekend

So,I gotta be honest,it's been almost a month since I posted,and alot has happened since then!So,let me put part 2 to a ver



y special weekend.During that sunday,December 14th,2019,we went to church then me and dad skipped off to GrandForks.I really didn't honestly why I was going,but found it odd I was the only one with him.We talked on and off about alot of things,but especially our extended family and our soon to be trip for Chis mad in Colorado.I really enjoyed the time together,though a little wiped out from the ladies Christmas tea the day before.When we got to Grand Forks,we did some shopping,looked around,then hit a local walmart.After about 5:30,dad asked me where I wanted to go to eat,and some where fancy.Now I was REALLY suspicious because we almost never go to somewhere fancy to eat,and rarely,with a family of 7,do I get to pick where to eat.That was neat.So,I really had a hungering for chicken,I don't know why,but I did.So,after a couple options,we finally decided upon Ruby Tuesdays.It was a really cool looking restaurant,but my favorite part was either the salad bar,or what I actually chose as a main meal.I ended up getting seafood (Shrimp and salmon in some really good sauce!!),which was funny.When we finished our meal.Dad gave me "The Talk",though I can't exactly tell you what it is,because it's between me and dad,I will say this:that day,I knew who had my heart,and I made a special promise.As a reminder of that promise,I was given my once in a lifetime promise ring.A ring that always will remind me that daddy would always have my heart,and he would have my best interests at heart......

My Grandma

Yesterday I attended a funeral.Not really sure how to put this,or if it'll come out right.I attended a persons funeral to which I was very close with.My grandmas.It was touching to see how many lives Mary Mathews touched.I look around the auditorium and see people hurting just as much as I am n know I'm not alone. We held an open house afterward and was so thankful for all the people who brought delicious desserts and snacks,so we wouldn't have to wait tables and clean up.Making the day even longer.We all had a good fellowship and spent some time with friends and family.As my grandma would say "LOVE ISNT MEANT TO STAY,LOVE ISNT LOVE UNTIL YOU GIVE IT AWAY" If you have not seen the funeral or couldn't make it here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs474BVBxAA6DOC4sjRFP-A

Dear Readers, Since I found out my grandma has cancer,it's been a tough road for all of us.In some way or another,it left a scar on our hearts.I'm so thankful that God is with us through these tough times.I've come to believe sometimes loving someone comes with a price.When you love someone,it hurts you to see them in pain.That is the price to loving somone,but loving them is worth the risk.I've learned time is precious,everyone has it,but no one can keep it.It's fleeting,one here moment,gone the next.Spending time with your loved ones is important to tying those heart strings.My family has been key to these tough times.Especially my parents.They've protected me,cared for me,gave godly advice,and helped me bear my burdens.God has been with me throughout this trip,and He'll still be with me looooooonnnnnnngggggg after.My church family has supported my grandma and took the time to be there for her.That's something I won't forget easily and will always
