School:A learning Experience

Dear Journal,
Today was pretty rough with school.By the time 1:30 came around,I felt like a burnt outlet.Yikes!These next to years are a critical growing moments in my life right now,as im,for the first time,finishing my last two years of Home High School by myself.If it wasn't for my family,who kept the household running,I would've been able to get these first few months finished.If I had to pick a favorite subject,it would have to be art.It's a way I feel like I can really express myself without having to use words.My favorite thing to draw is mountains,especially in pencil.English is by far the hardest right now,because I'm learning the rules of english and poetry.But the most important subject I've been reading is Civics:The Land of Fairplay.With all the red flag laws,castle laws,retreat laws,and impeachment of trump,it's a pretty good year for Civics.In geography,I've been studying the continents and what they're famous for.

 So,I've been a little short on posts lately,so I decided to take up the extra slack by writing a poem.Its called "Under the starry sky": No sun,I am teary Replaced by rain,I am weary The moon comes out to see me It's very dark and dreary A star comes out ever so slightly It's shining very brightly Because of the rain,because of the snow The star shines even more so It has no where else to go So it just shines,and shines,and shines Up in the big blue sky Declaring the work of its maker It hopes to serve its Saviour The silver star is just like me It represents what I hope to be The rain,the snow,and the wind suddenly stops And I can truly see All those stars gazing sweetly down at me All those who believe in Christ,will live eternally All those stars ever so brilliantly Are those in Christianity So shine,shine,shine So Jesus Christ can see!

My Grandma

Yesterday I attended a funeral.Not really sure how to put this,or if it'll come out right.I attended a persons funeral to which I was very close with.My grandmas.It was touching to see how many lives Mary Mathews touched.I look around the auditorium and see people hurting just as much as I am n know I'm not alone. We held an open house afterward and was so thankful for all the people who brought delicious desserts and snacks,so we wouldn't have to wait tables and clean up.Making the day even longer.We all had a good fellowship and spent some time with friends and family.As my grandma would say "LOVE ISNT MEANT TO STAY,LOVE ISNT LOVE UNTIL YOU GIVE IT AWAY" If you have not seen the funeral or couldn't make it here is the link: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCs474BVBxAA6DOC4sjRFP-A

Dear Readers, Since I found out my grandma has cancer,it's been a tough road for all of us.In some way or another,it left a scar on our hearts.I'm so thankful that God is with us through these tough times.I've come to believe sometimes loving someone comes with a price.When you love someone,it hurts you to see them in pain.That is the price to loving somone,but loving them is worth the risk.I've learned time is precious,everyone has it,but no one can keep it.It's fleeting,one here moment,gone the next.Spending time with your loved ones is important to tying those heart strings.My family has been key to these tough times.Especially my parents.They've protected me,cared for me,gave godly advice,and helped me bear my burdens.God has been with me throughout this trip,and He'll still be with me looooooonnnnnnngggggg after.My church family has supported my grandma and took the time to be there for her.That's something I won't forget easily and will always
